Children with developmental disabilities participated in Take Heart Foundation’s inaugural basketball clinic, held May 30 in Ridgewood, Queens, in partnership with Hot Shots Basketball NYC, where the focus extended beyond skills to confidence, friendship, and belonging. The event brought together coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters in a community-driven effort to ensure every child had the opportunity to play, belong, and thrive.
